For this Oude Geuze, 2-year-old Lambic matured for 18 months on cognac casks. The previous cognac ageing leaves a refined impression of dried fruit, grape-like warmth and elegant oak, layered onto the vinous character of Lambic. The finish is dry, long and complex.
